POEM:
Carry on the carrion
Plucked apart at the seams
A festering noxious oblivion
Shrouded in Moorish misery that screams
Our love spills out the soul
Like bloody viscera undone
Consecrated and extolled
Holy vows we can’t outrun
I wear your grief like wedding lace
Veiled behind our hollow frame
Come and see our resting place
To love and to rot forever’s the same
I crawled inside your ribcage, love
Behind each bone I wait
Eroding you until we’re one
Carrying on, my carrion is your fate
