FOR YOU, 3min., UK
Directed by Luca Paulii
'For You' is a heartfelt letter from a father to his two-year-old son, capturing a summer day in the park, a world filled with wonders yet to be discovered and a looming danger. Set in Peckham, South East London, the director narrates the story in Italian, the language he has spoken to his son since birth. This project is deeply intimate and personal, yet carries a universal and resonating message: what lies ahead might be uncertain, but with love, courage, and imagination, we can create a better future.

Director Statement
Like never before the future of our planet has looked so uncertain, and our children are asking us to take action and help them to build a better tomorrow.
Collectively, it is apparent that we find ourselves stuck, overwhelmed by the enormity of the challenges ahead. This film aims to encourage a positive perspective. Rather than succumbing to fear it asks us to draw inspiration from our children and imagine a brighter path forward, an idea that worth fighting for.
I have teamed up again with Norfolk based producer Richard Barnett, who also had two children at the same time as me. Our shared experience created a profound connection that elevated both the film and its message.
The music, created by Oscar nominated music composer Daniel Pemberton, perfectly captures that sense of fragility that comes when having a child while simultaneously fostering a spirit of empowerment and hopefulness for what lies ahead.
