Matthew Toffolo interviewed Tori Beach about her documentary film, "Maybe It's This," which explores the world of pole dancing through personal stories and experiences. Tori explained her motivation for making the film, highlighting the diverse reasons people are drawn to pole dancing and the supportive community it fosters. She discussed the stigma surrounding pole dancing, its origins, and its evolution into a mainstream form of exercise and self-expression. Tori shared insights into the inclusive nature of her studio, welcoming people of all genders, body types, and backgrounds, and emphasized the importance of trust and consent when filming in such a vulnerable setting. The conversation also touched on Tori's background in homeschooling and how it influenced her career in video work. Both Tori and WILDsound reflected on the film's themes of connection, community, and the human experience.
