Director Statement
This pilot is based on my experiences making my first feature film, Manhattan Minutiae. Among the lessons learned is that the music business is even crazier than the film/TV business due to the lack of defined roles. Everyone who strums a chord or contributes one word to a lyric demands writing and royalty credits. Bands often self-sabotage their glimmer of an opportunity for success even before they even get started.

Given my indie film background and desire for a measure of control over my desired livelihood, I would like to continue to write, direct, and produce my own content while attempting to gain a foothold in the mainstream Hollywood market. But as my buddy Dan Mirvish, often says, we are destined to DIY until we die. Might as well enjoy the ride. Plus, I want to shoot a project on every Continent. 4 down, 3 to go. Though Antarctica will be a tough one.
