an archive of movements, 9min., UK, Documentary/Experimental
Directed by Alice Prum
“an archive of movement” explores new ways of thinking space through movement. Through a collection of traces left by a moving body, the language of movement not only challenges the rigidity and fixity of traditional means of architectural representation but explores space as a process of embodied thinking. The archive translates the impalpable inhabitation of the domestic space through the language of movement, where ordinary gestures are suspended between a familiarity and a state of estrangement.
