In this short film, I highlight the nonprofit organization, Clean Up-Give Back, and how Donna Adam and the rest of the employees are working hard to reduce pliable plastic in the Chicagoland area.
Director Biography - Katy Coakley
Katy Coakley is a Chicago-based documentary filmmaker and visual storyteller with a deep love for film and a passion for uncovering stories in unexpected places. A recent graduate of Loyola University Chicago, Katy uses documentary filmmaking to explore subjects ranging from local history to environmental awareness, bringing curiosity, and a strong sense of place to each story she tells. Her films have been screened at film festivals across the country, with her latest film, "There's No Planet B!", earning Best Documentary at the 2026 Illinois Film Festival. Her work has also been recognized with awards in film studies and journalism. When she's not behind the camera, Katy can usually be found in the movie theatre.
