Antonio, a 12-year-old boy, defends a man from the abuses of his own friends. Following this event, the boy's present and future will be profoundly changed, together with that of those around him.

Director Biography - Francesco La Barbera
Born in Palermo, class of 2000, he grew up in Villafrati, a small provincial town. He enrolled in the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Palermo, simultaneously cultivating his passion for filmmaking and writing. In 2021 he enrolled on the "Startalenti" platform " by Francesco Apolloni and Daniel Bondì, thus starting to establish acquaintances with other peers in the cinema sector. In the summer of 2022, he wrote and directed "Standard Deviation", a short film shot at the University of Palermo. Between 2020 and 2021 he wrote 3 feature film screenplays. In 2023 he wrote "Pindaric", a version adapted into a short film of a written screenplay in the previous two years.
