1. What is your short story about?

My story is about wishing that all the problems we have created would magically resolve themselves, only to find out that no, it won't. And then it will be too late.

2. What genres would you say this story is in?

The genre is Fantasy mixed with Dystopia.

3. How would you describe this story in two words?

Magical Despair.

4. What movie have you seen the most in your life?

Ghostbusters, probably.

5. What is your favorite song? (Or, what song have you listened to the
most times in your life?)

Another difficult question, but I could choose almost any song by 'Caparezza', an Italian singer.

6. Do you have an all-time favorite novel?

A difficult third degree, but I choose Good Omens, by Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman.

7. What motivated you to write this story?

A restlessness of the moment, an awareness that as a civilisation we seem to be heading for the abyss at an ever-increasing speed.

8. If you could have dinner with one person (dead or alive), who would
that be?

Terry Pratchett, without a doubt.

9. Apart from writing, what else are you passionate about?

Mythology, History, Music. I like reading for the pleasure of reading, fiction, and for the pleasure of knowing things. I would also like to be able to draw, we can say that I am a non-practising enthusiast.

10. What influenced you to enter your story to get performed?

Having also studied playwriting, and having written monologues and theatre scripts, over the years I have developed short stories in the form of monologues, streams of consciousness, ideal for both reading and, in this case, performing.

11. Any advice or tips you'd like to pass on to other writers?

Write, write, write. A difficult thing, which I often don't do either (isn't that the best advice?), but it is the one thing a writer must do. Then there is time to think, edit, correct. In the meantime, write.
