18-year-old Michelle is having the night from Hell. A disappointing hookup, blisters from wearing heels all night, and to top it all off she has lost her cellphone. But, Michelle's night takes a turn when she stops to use a phone booth and discovers advertisements from adult entertainers. On impulse, Michelle hires sex worker Magdalene to come spend some time with her. The interaction surprises both women and ends with a moment of genuine tenderness.
Director Statement
This film is about one woman's struggle to escape loneliness and achieve true intimacy in a world that constantly conflates sex and transaction.
