Summary: A young unassuming young woman possesses an incredible talent for singing, which she showcases in private while being bullied in her social life. After performing well at an open mic, she begins to garner interest from record executives and finds herself on stage at a national singing competition. Her rapid ascent puts her life in danger, and Janey is forced to interrogate what really matters to her in life.
