LOGLINE; Giants are discovered in Afghanistan and the U.S. military stands defenseless, until a preacher's-daughter-turned-soldier discovers how to use her powers.
AMANDA is a 20-something-year-old army sniper/preacher's kid stationed in Afghanistan. What would be a usual night for her unit is disrupted when a HERDER rushes toward their base, signaling wildly for help. Amanda is forced to shoot him in the leg, after which point the unit learns he was running from giants-- actual giants of biblical proportions. Amanda's unit is put in charge of investigation/containing the situation and when they affirm that they are dealing with real monsters, they are assigned an above-top-secret task of protecting the world from their wrath.
As the only believer in her unit, Amanda's biblical knowledge becomes indispensable to the mission. Along with commandeered man-of-faith-and-science SETH WATERS, she leads the strategy under the Agnostic MAJOR STRYKER.
