He recounted the screenplay's history, including its option by Michael Miner, co-writer of RoboCop, and the challenges in getting it produced. Rich also mentioned his other writing projects, such as a TV pilot about addiction treatment and a limited series about James Whistler, and the difficulties of breaking into the industry from Hawaii. The interview concluded with plans for a second part.
