ANONYMOUS, 12min., Drama
The impact of commercial progress and gentrification in London is seen through the eyes of an ageing Drag Queen (Enzo Cilenti) who is failing to come to terms with the changing face of Soho.
The story centres on the themes of community, social homogenisation and identity.
BAD NEWS, 12min., Comedy
As a morning show goes into the 5 minute countdown before their live recording, the producers, political guests, cast and crew try to make the most of a freshly uncovered scandal.
NIGHT NOISE, 2min., Experimental
“Night Noise” captures the feeling of isolation and loneliness in a crowded world full of noise.
Utilising sound bites from 1955s Mental Health Film Board educational film “The Lonely Night”, as well as sounds captured in our galaxy by NASA and references to films we have liked this year. Night Noise highlights our timeless search to connect with something bigger, in order to find purpose within ourselves. But before we can connect with others, we need to learn to embrace and love all the versions of ourselves, and appreciate the beauty of nature around us.
It is a hopeful and encouraging look to move forward and filter out the noise that speaks to us and an encouragement to look after our mental health.
PARANORMAL INVESTIGATORS, 13min., Comedy
Paranormal Investigators follows Abby on her first day as intern at BPIT - The British Paranormal Investigation Team, facing off flying dolls, witches and jealous co-workers... There is also a suspicious amount of moving furniture involved.
