Oliver, devastated by his daughter Victoria's death, preserves her body cryogenically, clinging to the hope of a future cure. As a technician in a subarctic cryogenic facility, he oversees the preservation of Victoria and other patients. His commitment to the job intensifies when frost damage threatens Victoria's cryo-tube, leading him to extend his stay indefinitely. Isolated and consumed by paranoia, Oliver's mental state deteriorates, marked by vivid nightmares and hallucinations of Victoria.
