Zoya returns from shopping to her grandmother's house. There she comes across one of the most natural and sure parts of life, which, however, always catches us unprepared. How will she react? A story about one of the thousands possible encounters with HER, the outcome of which is always unique.
Director Statement
2 years ago I found my grandmother dead. It was the first time I faced death so directly. The incident left a strong impression on me. And as we, artists, often do, I poured out my emotions in the film I’M HERE. This is a short, but deeply moving story on the subject: Realize death. Accept death. Continue with life. And the Crassula ovata, called in Bulgaria The Tree of Life, is the perfect symbol of that.
