THE OBSERVATORY OF TREE GROWTH, 5min., Switzerland
Directed by Patrick Fonti, Raul Pfammatter, Daniel Nievergelt
The Observatory of Tree Growth is a short video describing the research conducted along a 1400 m long elevation gradient in the Swiss Lötschental to investigate tree growth. For 15 years now, we've been collecting week by week tiny wooden samples from tree stems, to unveil the secrets of how climate affects their growth. This video has breathtaking images providing the context and the approach of the research.

LET THERE BE LIGHT, 15min., Taiwan
Directed by Yu Hua Chan
Taiwan was founded on agriculture in the early days. However, in the face of rapid urbanization, there was no time to build infrastructure such as sewage pipelines, and a large amount of sewage was discharged indiscriminately, causing severe water pollution.

IN OUR HANDS, 5min,. Czech Republic
Directed by Kristián Mensa
"The body is an endless source of inspiration, reflecting stories, metaphors, and connections with the external landscape. As humans, we possess the power to create, reproduce, and thrive, yet we also bear the capacity to witness the devastating ruin of our planet. The direction we choose to steer the flora, fauna, and ourselves rests solely in our hands. Will it be a path towards destruction or a beacon of hope for a better world? Through graceful dance and artistic prowess, young artist Mr. Kriss weaves a visual poem depicting our intertwined existence within the cyclic nature of life."
