A PEACE OF EUROPE: BREXIT, THE EU & THE GOOD FRIDAY AGREEMENT, 26min. UK
Directed by Thom Jackson-Wood
Twenty years after the Good Friday Agreement was signed in 1998, EU Supergirl Madeleina Kay and indie filmmaker Thom Jackson-Wood explore how the European Union has supported the Northern Irish Peace Process whilst also campaigning against the biggest threat to the Peace Process since it was signed - Brexit.
I'm seeking to make groundbreaking new films, which will tell stories that people haven't seen or heard before. A lot of my work has a political edge to it, either looking at Brexit or issues faced by disabled people in the UK. However my main focus is always to tell a story, which is what I feel is at the heart of filmmaking.
