Director Statement
This film is a personal reflection on the inner journey of immigration—the silence, the distance, and the subtle transformation that unfolds when starting over in an unfamiliar world.
Inspired by my own experience as an immigrant, I sought to translate these unspoken emotions into visual language, using movement, symbolism, and atmosphere to express what words often cannot.
Through this animated journey, I explore the feelings of displacement, memory, and belonging, while reflecting on the strength found in adapting to a new environment. Ultimately, I hope the film resonates with immigrants everywhere, offering a sense of warmth, resilience, and quiet hope.
