What begins as a 30th birthday gift to herself, a pole dancing class, becomes an unexpected journey of self-discovery, grief, and healing for filmmaker and narrator, Tori. Set inside a pole dance studio, the film weaves together intimate portraits of a community of women who each arrived searching for something and found far more than they expected. Part personal essay and part community portrait, the film explores how the most unexpected spaces can become sites of profound transformation.
