After a lifetime together, the relationship between Lázaro, an ancient vampire, and his wife Aura is nearing its end. Old and ill, Aura begs Lázaro to end her suffering. This will subject their relationship to its most difficult test yet: discovering whether "happily ever after" truly exists.
