In her attempt to protect her children from sexual abuse by their father, she must confront a loss of credibility, imprisonment, and isolation. Told through her first-person testimony and the voices of lawyers, a psychiatrist, a judge, and the vice-president of the organization Face à l'Inceste, this film is a portrait of institutional violence, racism, the migrant experience, intergenerational trauma, and the price of speaking out.
