The Piano Boy, by Dan Hallwood.

Its here at this very piano, where we use to sit
Thinking about you, just thinking,
You had the perfect hands from what I remember
You taught me how to play our song, but not all of it
And that's what hurts me the most, knowing we didn't finish what we started
I try to pick up the pieces but it just crashes down on me,
I need you to come back into my life
That way we can finish what we started,
The seat where you use to sit is cold
But that's your seat and always will be
Im waiting for you to come and join me, like we used to do.
I wont let anyone sit there as you use to call it your seat
That memory sticks with me wherever I go
But, the hardest things of all
Is seeing you teaching our song to other people
I sit here hoping, hoping you will come and sit next to me, and help me finish this song,
But you never do,
I don't know how to get back up, I feel like I play this song for you
But it doesn't matter because you never around to hear it
And I need you to help me finish the last part of it,
And I know you would of done,
But,
Not now,
I just hope one day you turn around and see me sitting there J
See me playing our song,
Ill play the song, the whole song for you,
If it takes 1 year or many more,
I will complete this song for you, I will make you proud of what I have achieved
They say it takes two, well that's true because
At the moment im nothing without you,
I've waited for you and here you are
Finally after all these years
I learnt the song but not as well without you
It feels good to have you sat here laughing and smiling
Knowing we did finish what we started
And that's all I ever wanted
Thank you,
