Something About You , by Diane Morasco.

Something about you
Something about you
There's something about you
Say it isn't what I think it is
Please don't tell me
My heart finally found a place to call home
Oh, no, it can't go down this way
Something about you
Something about you
There's something about you

I knew from the beginning things were gon' change
You entered my orb and my life was rearranged
'Cause there's something about you
Something about you

You sauntered in and infused my soul with oxygen
A sensual being who woke me from my surviving slumber
Transformed my reality
With your liquid presence
Notorious for blazin' a trail
Leaving nothing in my wake but dust
You leave me hungry for home and hearth
While sheltered in your arms

I knew from the beginning things were gon' change

You entered my orb and my life was rearranged

'Cause there's something about you

Something about you

You're the only man to ever make me feel this way
Your existence adds octane to my veins
I didn't think this would ever happen
Ever happen to me
Didn't know a heart could feel such raw emotion
For another human being
And a body thrum so melodically
Didn't realize I would ever admit to wanting this with you
Didn't realize when the feeling hit
It wasn't mine to keep
And as soon as you walked in
Our chemistry was too much
You had to walk out
'Cause you're promised to another
Ironic, isn't it

I knew from the beginning things were gon' change
You entered my orb and my life was rearranged
'Cause there's something about you
Something about you

There isn't any place I'd rather be
Than beside you, sweet angel
Not once did I imagine I'd yearn for anyone as much as I burn for you
Never imagined I'd want anyone to know all there was to know about me
Until you
Than again, sweet angel, you're not anyone
You took me to a level
I never knew existed
Set off every bell and whistle
You ensnared the girl always on the go
I ain't tryna be smug
I seared an imprint beneath your chest
Deep inside your soul

I knew from the beginning things were gon' change
You entered my orb and my life was rearranged
'cause there's something about you
Something about you
