Peter Berg: Born in New York in 1964, Berg pursued education in theatre arts, planning to act while also interested in film production.

He left his acting mark on the series Chicago Hope, where Peter also had his first opportunities to write and direct. Berg’s first feature as writer and director was 1998’s Very Bad Things.

He has subsequently both written and directed the 2004 feature Friday Night Lights, from which he created the well respected television series. Berg is becoming a trusted mainstream director with hits such as Hancock.
