Logline - Lemmon Grandee, a mild-mannered individual, just turned sixty and suddenly his life turns upside down. Forced into retirement, still trying to make sense of what to do with his matured life, his wife Alberta dies of a stroke, leaving him alone, devoid of life, and heart-broken. Friends and neighbors fear the worse: him committing suicide. To tell the truth, that would have being the perfect antidote, except had other plans in store for him.
Weeks later, while cleaning out his late wife's painting studio, Lemmon stumbles on several letters, all from his daughter Gloria, whom neither had seen or heard from since she left home seven years ago. Apparently she is living a new life in New York City with her eight-year old son, Randall. Lemmon commits himself to venture out of Sheffield, the mid-western town where he lives, to Harlem, New York, to search for his daughter, rekindle their severed relationship and if possible convince her to return home with him, back into his life. He has nothing else to live for, and who knows, it just might bring an end to the weird nightmarish dreams he'd being having lately. Dreams that forewarn what the future has in store for him and his lost family.
