Nathan Lewinski, son of a corrections officer, grew up in Depew, NY, just outside of Buffalo. He dropped out of high school, and found his way to the New York Film Academy in 2002, just after getting married at the age of 20. He stayed in Manhattan until the summer of 2003 after learning of his father’s suicide.
After moving back to his hometown, Nathan attended the University at Buffalo, studied literature, and has since written and directed six independent short films as well as writing multiple feature screenplays; his latest, a true story of cannibalism on the high seas. Currently, Nathan is pursuing his dream of bringing historical events and figures to life on screen, as well as developing his own original works of cinema, both short and feature length.
