Logline: Lemmon Grandee, a mild-mannered individual, just turned sixty and suddenly his life turns upside down. Retired and feeling lost over his matured life, his wife Alberta dies of a stroke, leaving him alone, devoid of life, and heart-broken. Friends and neighbors fear the worse: him committing suicide. To tell the truth, that would have being the perfect antidote, except had other plans in store for him.
Weeks later, Lemmon stumbles on some letters from his runaway daughter Gloria, whom he hadn't seen or heard from since she left home seven years ago. Apparently she is living a new life in New York City with her eight-year old son, Randall. Lemmon travels to Harlem, New York, determined to find his daughter, rekindle their severed relationship and convince her to return home with him, back into his life. He has nothing else to live for, and who knows, it just might bring an end to the weird nightmarish dreams he’d being having lately. Dreams that forewarn the dark future awaiting him and his lost family.
