A look at Justin Bieber's early life, his rise to fame, and behind the scenes of his 2010 tour. Release Date: 11 February 2011 Take a look at what's new today! REVIEW: Ah Justin Bieber! You gotta love him. The boy says all the right things. He's a walking optimistic platitude machine. Here's a list of the greatest of Justin Bieber lines: "It would be a shame to go out with a hot girl you can't have a decent conversation with!" "A girl has to have a beautiful smile, beautiful eyes and she should have a good sense of humor. She should be honest, loving and trustworthy." "I'm just a regular 16 year old kid. I make good grilled cheese and I like girls." "Singers aren't supposed to have dairy before a show, but we all know I'm a rule breaker" " But I think love is a learning process throughout your life, you learn how to be better at it. I’m still learning, I’m not saying I know everything about love, I’m still trying to figure out girls, I don’t think you ever fully figure out girls." "I don’t love money, because once you start loving money, you’ve got a big house and nice cars and just an empty heart, and that’s the truth, I’m not just" "Flowers are great, but love is better" And when you watch Justin Bieber the movie (or in reality the 90 minute commercial for Bieber where you pay him instead of vice/versa. A masterstroke of marketing by his people), you'll hear a lot of Bieberisms about what he feels about this life we humans live in the world.
Is Justin Bieber the next prophet for anyone who was born 1995 or later? If you watched this film in a theater full of 300 screaming girls (and some boys), you perhaps think he is. The tagline promotion of this film states: "FIND OUT WHAT'S POSSIBLE IF YOU NEVER GIVE UP" It's hard to grasp that line when it's coming from a boy who is younger than some of the clothes I have in my closet. If this was the poster for Abraham Lincoln's biography film, then I could really grasp that. There was a guy who went through a whole lot to obtain the ultimate goal of being president. Only to have him die early due to an assassination while watching the version of the late 19th century Justin Bieber play. I'm not the audience for this film so I can't really state my true opinions, because it doesn't mean anything at all. So I did my best way of diving into the skin of a 13 year old girl and asking the question: "Is Justin Bieber Never Say Never a good film?" Was I entertained? Sure Did I learn anything? Yes Do I want to see this movie again? Perhaps! But that all depends on how famous Bieber will be in say 6 months to a year. Does he have a long shelf life of pop-culture fame? Or will another Bieber come out of Canada (isn't that where all the talented people come from?) and replace him in the pre-teen Mount Rushmore of fame? If he stays famous and becomes the next Justin Timberlake and not the other guys in his boy band, then yes, this is a film that is definitely rewatchable. But the odds are that Bieber won't be around for long. Why? Because this is really an insulting film. It's an MTV behind the scenes movie that is forcing its fans to pay $15.00 to see. Doing things like that will piss off its fan base very quickly. And the whole 3D thing is a complete ripoff as it's pretty obvious the film was done in 2D with exception of a Madison Square Gardens concert. And they just threw that in so people had to pay $3 more in tickets. Shame on them! You MUST BE the new prophet in order to pull this off. And that will be the ultimate question: Is Bieber a prophet or not?
