Jeffrey Jacob, born in New York in 1966, had his first job in the business at age sixteen. Early on Abrams became prolific as a screenwriter, penning diverse pictures such as Taking Care of Business and Regarding Henry.

JJ’s talent broke out in 1998, collaborating on the blockbuster Armageddon, and creating the series Felicity. Under his production company “Bad Robot” he went on to create the hit series Alias and Lost.

Abram’s mainstream sensibility for smart action saw him handed the reigns for the Mission Impossible and Star Trek franchises.
