GUY BEN SHETRIT GUY BEN SHETRIT Guy Ben Shetrit is an animator, internationally awarded director, screenwriter and a musician. “Hey”, a song taken from Eatliz debut album, is Guy Ben Shetrit’s first independent project as a director after 13 years of serving as an animator for commercials, TV programs and computer games. In 2008 he won the MTV international art break contest. In 2009 Ben Shetrit won 16 international awards for "Hey", including the Spike Lee award at the Babelgum.com competition. Ben Shetrit works closely with Grammy nominated directors Yuval and Merav Nathan on their stop motion music videos ("Her Morning Elegance", "Lose this Child"). In addition to being a successful animator, Ben Shetrit is also a well known musician in Israel, with Eatliz his third musical project. Eatliz is an acclaimed Art rock force with international fan base which is gaining momentum for the last 3 years. Eatliz is known for spectacular live shows that are a visual treat combining animation, outstanding genre crossing music and beautiful award winning animation music videos. During 2011, Eatliz got wide exposure on Canadian media, including performances on "Canada am" and "Explore Music"radio. |
