Born in New York in 1965, Singer pursued an education in film. One of his first independent projects won the Grand Jury Prize at the 1993 Sundance Festival.
One year later, Singer’s The Usual Suspects received great critical acclaim (winning two Oscars), and achieving cult status for its iconic twist. Garnering a reputation for “smart action”, Bryan was handed the X-Men franchise, of which he made a great success; less so, 2006’s Superman Returns.
Singer is considered a powerful player in Hollywood, although his next big projects are currently unclear.
