Adrian Saba was born in Madrid; but at the age of five, he moved to Peru where he was raised in the world of the arts due of his parents’ involvement in theater. Outside of school, he took photography courses, animation courses, and attended the Interlochen Center for the Arts during the summer of 2004.
After high school, Adrian received a full scholarship by Fulbright to study film at Hofstra University in New York. He won the Best Director award at the HFC Film Festival (New York) and the Audience Award at the FilmoCorto Festival (Lima) for his first short, Night Shift, in 2006. Consequently, Adrian graduated from university with his last short film The River which has screened at various film festivals worldwide and winning in his home country Best Director at FilmoCorto Festival and Best Short Narrative Film at FENACO.
Adrian is currently working on the pre-production of his debut feature film and is continuously growing as a filmmaker.
